Is there a way I can read the commentary as well as listen to the podcast?

You should be able to read the transcript of the podcast on Substack as well as on Apple Podcasts.

Let me know if that’s what you’re after! :)

That is exactly what I'm after....I have the SubStack app on my android phone but I don't see a link to the transcript

It appears Substack only makes the transcript available on the Web/Browser version.

Apple Podcasts allows you to see it on your phone I believe.

I'll have another look at the browser version and let you know what I find....I DID actually look there first, but maybe I missed it.

Thank you so much for circling back to me on this. And I LOVE your posts...love them

So it didn't occur to some of you that the office may have been facilitating foreign activity in Canada and the government isn't releasing information because it could 1) risk revealing a source of intelligence, 2) escalate tensions with China when it is diplomatically inconvenient.

Brittlestar got there and then Steve tried to dismiss it. Despite the fact that there have been numerous indications and acknowledgement of foreign interference in Canada. Apparently, being a former english teacher is not good preparation for foreign relations analysis.

Closing the offices hasn't necessarily got anything to do with Tik Tok directly. I think it goes back to the Huawei scandel where their CFO was arrested in Canada for extradition to the U.S. and the Chinese government arrested and imprisoned two Canadians in retaliation. There is obviously information that CSIS has that we don't have about the Chinese governments ability to infiltrate and steal competitor's intellectual property. I think it's a smart move because it lets the Chinese government know that our security services are aware of what they are doing. But the Chinese government can't respond, without exposing it's involvement in companies like Huawei and Temhu. As well, putting 100% tariffs on electric vehicles from China protects Canada and the US from a complete take-over

There has to be something intentional about leaving the platform up but closing the offices, since as one of you said, Tik Tok has been one of the most lenient platforms in letting the far left post content that the mainstream media won't.
